This thread needs some loving. I recently added a barmod to my ui because it felt a bit cluttered, I like having as much viewing space as possible.
Let me explain all the stuff in the middle quick. That's all from a mod called power auras. It's uh... amazing. I have it set in this screen shot to show everything that pops up but while raiding 90% of the time the middle of my screen is clear. Going down top to bottom of my power auras though is:
(Oh shit son...): When my health dips down to 30%. This was a late addition, I had it for my dk so I could pop CDs and shit while tanking and i figured I may as well add it to my shaman's ui as well. (on my DK it pops up at 40%)
Lightning Icon: This pops up as my elemental mastery comes off cooldown and flashes for 3 seconds.
Bloodlust Icon: Uh, it shows when bloodlust is buffed? Good to know when this falls off (icon disappears) to gain some wiggle room.
Lightning Aura: Shows when elemental mastery is active, similar in purpose to bloodlust
Wavy Orange thing and numbers: Flame shock duration
Orange semi-circles: Pops up if flametongue weapon isn't on. (holy shit amazing)
Light Blue semi-circles: Pops up if water shield isn't on. Ok so I rarely refresh water shield anymore so this one actually does appear on my ui quite often. Crazy useful as restoration though.
Bloodlust/hex/water shield/fire nova are all mouse binds even though they still have keyboard shortcuts. (I had to reconfigure my mouse to do key presses.)
Because I use c/r for combat my character sheet is actually brought up with B and respond to whispers is actually J. Weird right? I've always debated changing Z/X to something combat useful. But I like to sheath/sit alot. GIMPING MYSELF.
Othermods I use but are rather irrelevent to UI clutter:
Bejeweled
DBM
Omen (this I kind of tucked in the corner because I have a 30% threat reduction talent which nearly makes it useless of me)
Recount
Everything else is default. Yes churgo, including totems.
Grid shows up really tiny in the bottom left over my chatbox.
TL;DR: I don't like cluttered UIs, (angelo's old one scares me)
