Pinewood Derby

I have mentioned before than I am the leader of my son's Cub Scout den. Anyway, this weekend was the annual Pinewood Derby. This year, they decided to hold an Adult Race...with NO RULES! (For those that don't know, the official BSA rules limit length, wheelbase, and most importantly the weight to 5 oz.) For the adult race, we could do whatever we wanted as long as it didn't damage the track and wasn't combustible/toxic.

haha... That is great Churgo. I stopped watching Southpark years ago.

My wife had to actually hold her wool coat at the end of the track to trap the car. The normal "slowdown mechanism" wasn't enough to stop it.

haha it's a pity those tracks are so short, with a longer straight that thing would've gotten to some real speed, what with an almost 1:1 thrust-to-weight and all.

Nicely done! (tho I bet the other dads were pissed rofl)
