Looking for 100% raid attendance Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Sunday of each week (excluding holidays) from 8:30pm-11:30pm servertime (Eastern).
Slackers have completed Hyjal and will be focusing our attention on the remaining bosses in Black Temple until we are ready for Sunwell. We raid Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Sunday of each week (excluding holidays) from 8:30pm-11:30pm servertime (Eastern). Progression is our largest priority, but we strive to maintain a comfortable and friendly guild and raiding environment for all our members.
All raiders are expected to be in attendance no less than 3 raid nights per week (priority is given to those who can maintain 100% attendance), show up on time, flasked, with all consumables (enough to last for the entire raid), all reagents, all supplies, correct PVE spec, show a willingness to listen & learn, seamlessly become part of our raiding team and guild and maintain our standards of performance on the meters. If you are tasked with farming for resist gear, mats, etc. - we expect this to be done by the deadlines set forth. Ventrilo is where 100% of the raid instructions both pre-fight and during the fight are given, so you must be able to use it.
Applicants should know and love their class and role - and be willing to accept constructive advice and criticism from their peers and guild officers.
Our goals are to see all (or as many as we can manage) of the fights before the next expansion, and to enjoy getting there - the gear that drops is just a bonus that helps us get there more effectively, not our driving force. Applicants should feel the same.

Though vaguely ironic... those that raid under the Slackers tag should be:
Driven - I want to be the best I can be and make the guild the best it can be, and I'm willing to work hard to get there, even if it means working outside of raid time farming for consumables, creating/learning effective strategies, etc.
Dependable - I'll sign up and show up for at least 85% of the raids on time, have the reagents, resist gear and/or ammo I need, and do my job to the best of my ability, and stay until the raid is over.
Patient - I won't get irritated or antsy when learning fights or getting set up again after a wipe.
Attentive - I'll be paying attention to instructions and doing my duty. You won't catch me afk without telling someone when it's time to pull. I'll do my best to not cause delays during prep time.
Determined - I want to beat this boss and I'll do everything I can to make that happen.
Guild-minded - I'll put the good of the guild above my character, even if it means passing on something I want or playing my character differently than I may want to when the guild needs it.
Easygoing - I'm able to take constructive critisism and not snap at people if they offer advice on improving. I can offer advice to others in a non-offensive manner.
If you are here only to get phat lewtz or if you cannot meet the above standards, you should start looking to another guild. If you want to see how far we can get while enjoying fights along the way with people you like - then we're happy to have you. We want the same thing.
